it's Game Time! Dual Shock 4

When life or death is in your hands choose the PS4 Dual Shock 4.

Playstation has continued to evolve the ergonomics of their controllers over time. The latest model is my favorite by far. It just feels right. The controller is responsive and the joysticks have a nice beveled edge to grip with. The R and L buttons also seem like they have shortened the button stroke and the added mini speaker is a fun bonus. The touch pad hasn't been of much use to me yet, but it seems like a useful tool. I've used after market controllers before and they have fallen very short of these name brand ones and I no longer even consider them. I like the Urban Camo pattern just because it looks cool, but so does the original plain black. I have never enjoyed the $50 price tag of these controllers, but they are a gateway to a lot of fun so I eventually dish it out. In the end my friends and family appreciate my digital investments.

Camping in Style Coleman Montana

We made a camping trip to New Mexico and this is the tent we chose.

I've been through a number of tents and one thing is for sure they never sleep as many as they advertise. Between the cots, air mattresses, luggage, and coolers there never seems to be enough room. For our purposes this tent is perfect. We only needed room for our family of 3 so it was spacious enough for multiple air mattresses and fit everything we needed. I really like the hinged door and the slot for an extension cable as well. There were extra pockets on the inside and hooks to hang a light or an extra hoodie. Having camped in 3 person tents I can tell you the extra space is highly recommended and very appreciated. We ordered this during a lightning sale on Amazon for $95 so we got much more tent than what we paid for. On all accounts this tent has proven comfortable and exactly what we needed.

More Juice Polanfo Power Bank

I am a content provider and providing content drains my devices like crazy. Here's my solution.

Seven years ago I bought a similar external battery pack to charge my phone and my other devices. It has served me very well over the years and it was time to find a new one. I wanted to buy a battery pack that could fully charge my iPhone 6s more than once and I came across this gem. It can charge my phone 3 times and it has a digital read out of the percentage left. I've used it to power my GoPro's, iPads, iPhones, and Apple Watch. It is about the size of my iPhone 6s so it's not too bulky and it's not too much heavier. From time to time I carry it in my pocket while charging my phone or iPad. Overall it has worked well for me and for $20 it is a solid buy.

Listen Up Sennheiser HD 201

I Podcast on iTunes so I need a pair of headphones that will work long hours and work well.

Sennheiser HD 201 $23.29

Like anyone else I have tried many different styles of headphones. I still have about 4 different pairs other than these. I've used Yamaha, Sony, AKG, Beats, Audio Technica, and a few off brands. These headphones are excellent for the budget minded user. At $23 they're really hard to beat. The foam around the earpiece is comfortable and suitable for those long sessions and the 10 foot cord is awesome. The other brands of headphones lack a long cord, but not these guys. In fact I liked these so much I bought another pair for my co host on the podcast and talked another host into buying them as well. Sennheiser makes quality gear and these are no exception. You can see me wearing them here on the far left and this was my trial run. By the next weeks episode we had 3 pairs.

Spare the Rod Shimano FXC 2 Piece

I literally work on the water and I see Redfish, Gar, Flounder, Stingray, Black Tip Sharks, and Trout every day. This 2 piece rod gives me a chance to reel them in while I'm waiting for my next orders.

If you're an outdoors enthusiast like me you enjoy having the chance to sit out in nature. I work on the coast anchoring large crude oil tanker ships, and barges everyday. As I'm out on the water I am constantly fighting the urge to fish. Of course I can't fish during a job or on work property, but I also can't drive all the way back home to gear up and make it back in time. Because of this I pack this break down rod and an Abu Garcia reel with 15lb monofilament tucked away in my trunk. It is perfect for the down time I have in between orders and I've reeled in a couple of large drums with it as well. The Black Drum in this picture was over 40 inches and my shoe size is 13.

Mouse Fail Tecknet Classic

I hate getting something that fails when you finally get used to it. This mouse did exactly that.

This Tecknet Classic mouse failed at just over a month of use. I also had to recharge the AA battery more than once during this usage.

The failure was the primary click button. It now only works every 3rd or 4th click which is incredibly annoying. The rest of the buttons function like normal so I would give it a 1 star rating on Amazon.

Now, this could be a lemon, but I don't want to deal with trying to return it so I opted to try a bigger name in this space Logitech. I've only had this mouse for a few weeks so we will see how it works out, but here is the Logitech M320.
