Turn it up

I constantly listen to content whether it's mp3's, podcasts, audiobooks or radio. I bought this little bluetooth speaker to help me out and so far it's mediocre at best.

I wish I could say how much I love this thing, but I'm underwhelmed. It performs its duties as advertised, but it does it forgettably. The full volume of this speaker rattles the housing and of its plastic shell and distorts the quality a bit. The battery only lasts a couple of hours so if you are not near a charger you are out of luck.

The speaker is water resistant like it claims because I used it in the shower multiple times without a problem, but my 2 year old pulled out the rubber seal for the charger so it is no longer water tight. I also know that it is loud enough to hear over road noise while traveling over 60mph because I have used it in my car over the last week. My car auxiliary port that I usually use to listen to my phone just shorted out so I'm using this little guy. You can also listen to FM radio with this thing, but it has to be at the correct elevation and you have to guess which frequency you are on because there is no display. The final issue that I have had is that about an hour of listening will lead to an unexplainable disconnection which can only be remedied by turning off the unit and repairing the device.

The best part about this product is that I bought it on sale for $14.99 and I feel like I have gotten my money's worth out of it. If you don't think this speaker sounds like it's on the fence I $24.99 I would have to agree with you. I hope to try a comparable product in the same price range soon so that I can recommend one, but for now I will say that you are probably better off looking for another speaker.
